Your Dental Benefits Are Running Out!

Don't lose the benefits you deserve. Call the office today and make your appointment to get those dental issues you've been putting off fixed. Don't wait. Last year we ended up telling some people there weren’t any appointments left before the end of the year.

Here's how your dental insurance works. When you or your employer buys dental insurance as part of your benefits package, you get a maximum yearly benefit that will help cover routine check-ups, cleanings and exams. And, it will usually cover some cavity treatment and may help with more expensive procedures. But, there's a catch!

The phrase "maximum yearly benefit" is the catch. What this means is during the course of a year you only get so much benefit for the premium you pay during that year. So, on December 31st at midnight your benefits run out. Now, if you've used all of your benefits to get all of your dental work done, then good for you! But, if you haven't used your benefits to your maximum advantage, then that money disappears and you lose. You can't get a refund. You can't roll it over to next year. It's gone and the insurance company pockets the rest.

Fortunately you can keep that from happening – but you've got to act now.

More and more patients are planning to use up their dental benefits now, while there’s still time.

For example:

  • If you still have benefits left this year, we can plan perform needed treatment now, before annual benefits expire or
  • If you’ve used most of this year’s benefits, we can plan to do some care now, to take advantage of whatever benefits you have left, and do the rest of the work once the next benefit year begins.

Every year too many patients wait to schedule appointments too close to December and we end up having to turn them down – So, if you’re determined to hang on to ALL your benefits, it’s time for us to get together and make a plan to put them to work.

Let's get you the benefits you deserve. But, please don’t wait.
